The Arbitrary:

Title: The Arbitrary
Author: Faraz Ahmad
Written on: June 4th, 2006.

Love me on your own time, when convenient,
Behold! A monster walks on your premise.

A mix of flour, milk, and sugar,
Tastes better than my eternal care.

Apathy, the most valuble entity, in this "marketplace,"
Once you lose, there's no one to blame, and no rules to name.

Expression, only reflects the shadows of my sorrows,
"Ignorance is bliss," comes to mind.

I submerge people in the puddles of guilt,
Suddenly, conscience becomes the omen of my own demise.

Have you ever pondered a reverse stab?
The sting of words that feed the death of love.

Oh how fragile is your affection,
Cannot even withstand a single revolution of the Earth.

Hail Jesus! Come save your kingdom,
The lies dress in truth, and right, is a mere direction.

Scream aloud, as loud as you can,
I assure you, they all are indifferent, to these " arbitrary " sounds.
